S. E. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Visual Impairments. She has spent many years working in education, both as a classroom teacher and as a specialist supporting students with special needs and their families.

When she isn’t working with students or writing, she enjoys biking with her dogs, caring for her small flock of Icelandic sheep, creating wool projects, and spending time outdoors.
