These free resource guides were created with busy educators in mind. They offer practical ways to explore the books without requiring teachers to develop every lesson or activity from scratch.

Depending on the title or series, the guides may include discussion questions, writing prompts, vocabulary and historical terms, extension activities, and connections between novels and their illustrated companion books. Teachers are encouraged to select and adapt the ideas that best fit their students, curriculum, and available time.

Need Something More Specific?

Every classroom and every learner is different. If you would like additional materials for a particular book—such as quizzes, additional vocabulary, a hands-on project, or an activity adapted for a particular age or ability level—you are welcome to contact me. I cannot promise that I will be able to fulfill every request, but I am happy to consider suggestions and help when time allows.

Personalized Look With Me Books

The Look With Me books can be especially meaningful when they reflect a student’s own experiences. Educators, therapists, and families may contact me to discuss the possibility of creating or adapting a book around an individual student’s familiar routines, object cues, and communication needs, or including a character who resembles the student.

Personalized projects will be considered individually and will depend on the scope of the request and my current availability.

A limited number of personalized Look With Me Book projects may be accepted each year. Pricing depends on the amount of customization required and whether the finished book can be made available as part of the published series. Fully private books intended for one student only will cost more because they require individual production and specialized printing.
