Storybook Trilogy

I have been working on this set of illustrated companion books that go with Prince Robert’s Reign: His Father’s Son since my two weeks off at the end of December. They are finally ready. The Cost of Being Seen is out and available. The Weight He Carries comes out June 27th and The Voice of the People will be released July 4th.

Storybooks, yes, but not picture books. They are designed for upper elementary/middle school readers. As in all my books, there is more below the surface. This trilogy delves a little deeper into Robert. Progression of themes: The Cost of Being Seen - external visibility, consequence, awareness, The Weight He Carries - fracture, injury, inward reckoning, and The Voice of the People - outward return, chosen leadership.
